The U.S. currently spends almost as much on its military as all other nations on earth COMBINED. Where does this money go? Much of it, to waste. Thank you, Congress.

Condoleza Rice, our brilliant Secretary of State writes in the July/August issue of Foreign Affairs: "And then came the attacks of September 11, 2001. As in the aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, the United States was swept into a fundamentally different world."

This quote from the beginning of her article shows why she is perhaps the most incompetent and counterproductive National Security Advisor/Secretary of State so far: She explicitly compares 9/11 to WWII. It is possible but very difficult to be more off base. Fortunately for this country her days in office are numbered. What an embarrassment.
