The above refers to the so-called Financial Sector in our economy. By Financial Sector I mean Banks and other lending and trading institutions and the Stock markets whose sole purpose is to efficiently aid the flow of capital within society. Efficient allocation of capital and resources is important for the production of good and services that improve the lives of all citizens within an industrial society.
