Had a little time on my hands this morning and scanned some right-wing blogs (see list below). Hätte ein wenig Zeit auf meinen Händen und heute Morgen gescannt einige Rechtsextremismus Blogs (siehe Liste unten). To my surprise the consensus on the right fringe seems the be that Barack Obama is some kind of leftist. Zu meiner Überraschung den Konsens auf der rechten Rand scheint die sein, dass Barack Obama ist eine Art linke. Huh? Can think of two explanations for this lack of fact-based thinking: Kann mir zwei Erklärungen für diesen Mangel an Fact-based Denken:

a) Painting Obama as a leftist will scare voters away and make him unelectable, ie, its a conscious strategy to influence the election. a) Malerei Obama als linke Wähler wird Angst weg und machen ihn unelectable, dh, seine eine bewusste Strategie zur Beeinflussung der Wahl.

Seriously, go veggie. Im Ernst, gehen Sie Veggie. A study published in the New Scientist suggests that energy costs used to produce food and transport it from place of production to consumer could be halved if you eat less and switch to a vegetarian diet. Eine Studie, veröffentlicht im New Scientist deutet darauf hin, dass die Energiekosten für die Herstellung von Lebens-und Transport von Ort der Erzeugung der Verbraucher könnte halbiert werden, wenn Sie weniger essen und Umstellung auf eine vegetarische Ernährung. Summer seems to be a time when not much works gets done. Sommer scheint zu einer Zeit, da nicht mehr viel arbeitet gemacht wird. Case in point: This journal has not been updated for a while now. Case in point: Diese Zeitschrift wurde nicht aktualisiert, für eine Weile jetzt.

Several things happened recently that are worth commenting on: Barack Obama’s shift to the right is deplorable but not unexpected. His vote in favor of the Bush FISA law cost him my financial support. Mehrere Dinge geschehen vor kurzem, dass wert sind, kommentiert: Barack Obama die Verlagerung auf der rechten Seite ist bedauerlich, aber nicht unerwartet. Seine Abstimmung zu Gunsten der Bush-FISA Gesetz kostete ihn meine finanzielle Unterstützung. I can’t support a guy who thinks it’s ok for the government to listen in on my phone calls and e-mal conversations without any warrant or probable cause.
